Glossary of Terms: 

“We”, “Us” and "I" refers to Ubique Cycles.

“You” refers to the Customer

Any reference to the Business is referring to the work, nature, intentions or other of Ubique Cycles.

1. Appointments and Scheduling:

I endeavour to meet the estimated timescales and appointments whilst carrying out planned work. However due to the nature of business, there may be times I am required to re-schedule. I will inform you as far as reasonably practicable of any delay, or if I can carry out the works sooner.

On rare occasions I reserve the right to re-arrange works as required to best fit timeframes and business needs. I will contact you in any case of this happening.

2. Bicycle Condition 

All bikes presented at the workshop unfit for scheduled works due to a dirty state will be subject to a nominal £15 clean prior to work being carried out.

Any bike presented at the Workshop unfit for scheduled works/ride-in works will not be serviced.

The bike must be free of biological contaminants or other harmful substances and mainly clean (free of large clumps of mud/dirt etc) to start the service works. I reserve the right to refuse to carry out the work if poop/other harmful substances are found.

3. Payment Terms and conditions:
3.1 Customer Payment

Full payment is required at time of invoice. We do not provide credit facilities.

Parts ordered for specific, customer requested applications must be paid for in full to facilitate order placement. These items cannot be returned to Ubique Cycles for refund or credit. 

Items requested by customer are ordered at their own risk. 

3.2 Payment methods accepted; 

Cash, Card payments, BACS

4. Guarantee:
If there are any areas where you are not happy with the work carried out please contact us as soon as possible.

Ubique Cycles will rectify any faults caused by their own work or a defective/incorrect part fitted by us, free of charge at your convenience (where reasonably practicable). We will only guarantee parts supplied and fitted by Ubique Cycles.

Any damage/faults/other resulting on your bike as a consequence of falls/accidents/heavy use/other will not be covered by Ubique Cycles.

Our work is covered for a 90 day period, commencing from date of invoice payment.

Normal wear/tear/degradation is not covered in this Warranty or guarantee.

5. General Pricing Information 

All prices on the website are Labour Only.

Parts will be charged extra and agreed with you before commitment to purchase.

Extra works recommended as a result of our servicing will be explained and agreed prior.

If not listed under our services section all other maintenance/repair fees are charged at £10.00 per 15 minute block, from the time of arrival until work is completed.  Complete hours are charged at £35.00.

6. Returns Policy

Ubique Cycles offer a 3 month guarantee for labour of new fitted parts, a manufacturers guarantee may also apply for parts if it is found to be a manufacturers defect.

7. Bespoke Builds

Ubique Cycles bespoke builds are supplied with a combination of new and used parts, please refer to the Build Sheet supplied with the bike the time of purchase for part identification. 

New parts are covered by manufacturer’s warranty, used parts and workmanship are covered for a period of 90 days. Please contact us by email in the event of any issues. We cannot provide any guarantee against parts or modifications that have been carried out by the customer.

8. Privacy

We use secure mobile payment providers. All your payment details are protected, we will only have access to your collection and delivery address, and contact details. We will never pass your details to a third party
